2. POSITION PURPOSE

The QA/QC Coordinator serves as the on-site quality custodian for TSS’s large-scale and C&I solar PV projects, ensuring all construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities conform to the Project Quality Plan, IEC international standards, Vietnamese regulatory and client’s requirements. This role is the primary quality interface between the TSS project team, contractors, subcontractors, third-party inspectors, and the client, upholding TSS’s Build-It-Right philosophy throughout the full project lifecycle

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Quality Planning & Documentation

  • Implement TSS QA-QC Policy & Procedures at projects’ sites such as: Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Control Procedures (QCPs) per ISO 9001:2015.
  • Maintain the Quality Document Register: NCRs (Non-Conforming Reports), CARs (Corrective Action Reports), punch lists, inspection checklists, as-built records and other relevance if required
  • Train site personnel on QA-QC practices, safety, and solar-specific requirements.
  • Compile and submit the Final QC Handover Dossier at project completion.

B. Inspection & Testing

  • Execute pre-construction, in-process, and commissioning inspections covering: structural/mounting, PV modules, DC/AC cabling, inverters, earthing/SPD, and SCADA systems.
  • Conduct IEC 62446-1 commissioning tests: IR testing, IV curve tracing, thermographic inspection, Performance Ratio (PR) verification, and grid connection checks.
  • Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and coordinate Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for major equipment if required.

C. Material & Non-Conformance Management 

  • Inspect and approve all incoming materials against IEC 61215, IEC 61730, IEC 62109 certifications and approved submittals; reject and document non-conforming items.
  • Ensure material traceability from procurement to commissioning.
  • Issue, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs); conduct Root Cause Analysis for recurring issues. 

D. Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Submit Daily, Weekly, and Monthly QC reports to the Project Manager and client; present QA/QC status at weekly progress meetings.
  • Collaborate with the TSS Engineering Team, HSE Officer, Procurement Officer, and client technical representative on all quality matters.

4. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (Required).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in Solar PV EPC projects (≥ 5 MWp capacity). Full lifecycle QA/QC experience (design to handover) required. Experience with Vietnam solar projects and EVN grid connection highly preferred.
  • Certifications: IEC 62446-1 Commissioning Certification (Preferred); NABCEP PV Installation Professional. (Preferred); Basic HSE / Working at Height Safety + First Aid (Required).
  • Technical Skills: Expert in Solar PV system architecture, IEC standards application, commissioning testing, QMS documentation. Proficient in engineering drawing interpretation (SLD, structural), MS Office, AutoCAD, SCADA platforms.
  • Language: English (Professional B2–C1, Required); Vietnamese (Native, optional); German (B1, Optional).
