This rooftop solar system is part of the develoPPP.de program. Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). There is also support from the GIZ Energy Assistance Program, Syntegra Solar International and Cat Tuong Corperation – a leading company in manufacturing and distributing insulation products in Vietnam. The owner energized and operated the system in May 2019.
Located in Long An province, Vietnam, the 850 kWp solar power system consists of 2,569 polycrystalline modules, producing approx. 1,190 MWh and cut about 1,241 tons of CO2 per year.
